I destroyed my third gear so I picked up a low mileage transmission from the junk yard. However, the shifter turret is seriously cracked and I need to swap my old one over. But I have not idea how to disconnect it from the tube that holds the shifter rod in place. I was told something about a drift pin but I don't even know what that is. What do I do?
