Default How to safely remove pintle caps.

Maybe i am just being a *****, but i cant pull it off with pliers, and i have been trying to screw it off. I need one of my old ones for new injectors. I searched, but just got one thread with sam asking about pintle cap requirements. I don't want to **** it up. Thanks.

Edit: I just fubared one.

Ok, **** all of you gays for not answering me, but the trick is to run them (the plastic cap) under hot water, so it expands, then LIGHTLY use channel locks to pry then off, I figured this out after breaking 2.
