I like my 320mm Momo. That wheel you posted first is a wheel for a formula car or something.

i had a 320 mm momo and I liked it alot too. It actually made more of a difference than I thought it would. A little heavier steering and a little tighter feeling.

320 is where it is at, my momo monte carlo is a great wheel. I dont think Id go any smaller tho

It also totally depends on whether or not you have PS. A 320mm wheel is nice on a car with PS. With no PS I like the the slightly larger D Ring.

how is the 320 with a manual rack? I have depowered steering rack but it clunks like none other and Im considering swapping to a manual rack and getting a smaller wheel

The jizz. Have you driven a 200whp+ Miata? :)

320 isnt to bad, ive got a depowered rack. After several trips through the dragon I started to get a little worn out. I like it, but that doesnt mean everyone will

wes65 10-10-2007 12:54 PM

yeah, i think im gonna get the 310mm (http://www.sparcousa.com/psteering_comp.asp?id=271) i like the D shape and the horn buttons

Just wondering..how do you guys attach horns to these wheels? Also, what do you end up doing with your stocker?

I'd imagine a D configuration would be better for reasons already mentioned. That chain wheel is HAWT in a stupid way. A guy here got his pinky stuck in it when he was exiting the expressway...he ended up jumping a curb and smacking into a water tower..broke a lot of bones in his arm....

hahahahaha, i didnt know people actually use those...i though it was just a joke...wow
d shape is sweet, i got one, it looks much better in the car too, IMO the stock ones are way over sized for the cabin/car...also, i have a manual rack and its not bad if your moving, even barely, but if you are at a dead stop on pavement, your getting a workout fo sho....

You have to modify your clock spring to get the horn to work. No big deal, it's pretty well detailed on miata.net/garage.
