Hi-ho folks, Ozzie 1998 NB8A, return-style fuel system, Have just done the MT charcoal cannister delete, and am about the "loop the hose". Can I just remove the little bit of hardline sticking up on the front of the chassis rail too? From this:

... And now for the main question - this line goes all the way back to the roll-over valve on the fuel tank. Is there any reason I can't cut this line down, and have it venting at the back of the car, rather than venting it inside the subframe like its doing now? It would give me more room at the bottom of the firewall on the right hand side.

You can do that. There used to be an evap canister where your blue line is. I would leave it vented to the fender though
