We just bought a Miata with a sc on it. I'll pick it up next weekend. I'm kidda excited about flying to Florida. Although it is just a quick turn around trip.
Anyways it is a 1990 with a rollbar, Rota's, KYB springs and struts, cams, SC, etc. It is going to be a daily driver.

 

What part of florida ya coming to? And more importantly, what SC?

Lol, i doubt a supercharged miata would/could get 30mpg.

 

Why?

A supercharger should have negligible effect on highway cruise. If your miata isn't seeing 30mpg on the highway, you are either not up to maint (or dead motor) or untuned.

Anyways, congrats on the purchase.

 

Jacksonville, are you close by. It is a Jackson racing, The guy didn't know what size. He said it is running 170 on 5-6 psi. Hmmmmm. It has all the parts of the $399 upgrade. I doubt they stopped at the pulley. I bet it is running 8psi. If not it will be. LOL

That would be the one. I wish I could of seen that before the ebay listing. It was bidding up and we had him stop auction for 3200. Still not a bad deal.

These sell very well around here. If we don't like the car, I could always take the charger off and save for another project.

But I am hoping it is nice. We are gong to have it painted, and change the color of the rims. My brother doesn't like the roll bar. I'm going to swap him my style bar.

I wish my brother could of taken a few days off. I haven't been to Florida since I was 12. He just started a new job, so we have to be back in Dallas by Sun. night.

It will be nice to take a weekend road trip, and see some beaches!

Sounds like a pretty good deal considering all that's on the car. Should be fun to drive.

Make sure to check the Crank pulley before you start driving, aren't those known to fail, the shortnose failure. Try a search for it over at Mnet, it seems to be pretty comon with the early 1.6's.

I wish I knew more about it. The guy didn't give much specifics on the supecharger.
It has bandaids, afpr, msd boost retard, (I just sold my Bipes I had been saving last month ), struts and springs, walbor fuel pump, Rota rims, roll bar, blinkers replacement air scoops. He says it has cams too. And a Jackson Supercharger. He didn't say which one. But if it has 170hp we're good!

It needs a SC belt, A/C charged, & paint. My brother wants to paint it a bright red metalic. Like the 2001 Cadi Eldorado. He has a thing with Cadi's. LOL.

We are playing musical tops. I'm puttig a new black top on my Turbo car. and the new top on the auto to my brothers. and the used top on my car to the auto. I'll get them back Thursday. I'll get pictures then.
