Default IAC Failure?

Greetings,

I have a 1992 1.6L miata that I have recently turbocharged, and I am running MS2PNP. Car has been running great, just been slowly getting the tune dialed in.
I start the car today after it sat for about a week. Very high idle, and very lean. 2,000 rpm, AFR off the charts.
Look under the hood, and first thing I notice is that the idle air control valve is sucking in a massive amount of air. It is loud! Whats the deal!?! Unplugging it drops the idle to relatively normal range, but that is obviously not a solution.
I have not touched the tune or anything under the hood since parking it, and it was idling fine then.
Do these things just go bad like that? Replacements are expensive! Have to find one second hand if I do need to source one.

Does anyone have any ideas to what may be causing this to randomly happen? Suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
