piston, i would like you to meet my friend valve and his brother sparkplug. rod got held up at oil pan's place

 

Just swap it for a rotary, their very knock resistant. Or perhaps its the other way around....

 

Sounds like I need to video tape my gauge some time so you guys can tell me if it is normal looking or detonation issues. Can't hear anything, but that doesn't mean much.
