Default INJ fusible link keeps blowing

My fusible link, marked INJ (30 amp) keeps blowing. I'm having it towed back to my appt right now, but I need some guidance to stop this problem.

I noticed that the fuel pump doesn't "whirr" when I turn the key to "2". Might that have anything to do with it?

First thing that I would look for is a a wire between the fuse and the injectors that has rubbed itself raw, shorting to ground on the engine harness.

FIXED!!

FWIW, started moving harnesses around, found a couple wires whose insulation looked pinched, moved those, poked and prodded a few other places, and for whatever reason, it worked!

now to hook up my turbo timer
