Default INNOVATE MTX-L Wideband Sensor broken?

So I got a brand new INNOVATE MTX-L Wideband sensor about a month ago. I installed it and everything worked fine until recently when during normal driving I got a E8 error. I later tried to recalibrate the sensor. But short after it started calibration I got the e8 error again. Is the sensor rip? And what might have caused this?

Have you looked at your manual? Support :: Innovate Motorsports ? E8 is typically a dead sensor. how far away from the turbo is it mounted?

Yes, sensor is most likely dead. No turbo mounted yet. 30cm from headers. Just wondering how it died after just a month of use.
