So I am now understanding that in foreign markets the 99-00 cars could have a 1.6 in it if I understand correctly? I bought a 99-00 engine recently and am no scared it could be a 1.6. It has no CAS, crank/cam position sensors, and came with a 6 speed. Can anyone tell me a good way of telling the difference? THANKS!

EDIT: It also does say BP4W on the back of the head and I read somewhere about it would say "B6".. is that true?

 

Both the site search and Google can tell you what a BP4W is.

 

It would say B6 or something of the sort. The NB 1.6 head is the same casting as the old usdm 90-93.
