Default JRCOZY Laser TX3 turbo build thread

Hi miata guys,

Im Carl from New Zealand and have been playing with BP powered cars for a few years, had a few mazda and ford, FWD and 4WD cars.

At the moment I have a 1990 Ford laser TX3, basicly the same as a escort GT.

Heres my build thread on a NZ mazda BP turbo forum.
New Car build starts at bottom of page 1.

It uses a 94 bignose TX3 block but has a 05 miata head and custom manifolds.
Autronic SM4 runs it.

Im only new to this site so cant post in the for sale or wanted yet.
At the moment im after a 99+ crank pulley as my alloy one doesnt have a damper in it and I want to change from the exhaust CAS i have to the CPS type using the sensor and the crank pulley.
Does anyone know if the sensors one bolt will mount to an early type oil pump or do i need the newer oil pump housing as well?

Does anyone have these parts for sale?

I hope to use this forum a lot more than the nz mazda one as its full of idiots who spam and dig at each others cars, its out of control.

Nice car overall, but...

bolt-on wastegates are soooooooooo 2009.

EDIT: I paged thru your facebook photos to see the good stuff. I like! Slick intake manifold, holy **** brakes, etc.

Yeah and if you look at the dates of the photos, it had a twin scroll manifold and twin "bolt on" gates in 2008 when It was at fabrication...

The car took me 4 years to complete to that standard and I have been showing it and racing for just over a year..

Final Night Speed Drag Wars, won the 2WD turbo class for the season.
Swapped to MT 26x10.5 tyres from M&H 25s, times dropped from 11.6 to 11.1s and even 11.3 on the brakes crossing the line at under 180kph.

The following Sunday I ran at a Sponsors fun day, very good track to suit the 6 second cars etc.
Took passengers for 11 sec rides then turned it up and hit [email protected] in the late afternoon. Dream of having a street legal 10 second FWD came true.
