The picture from the rear makes it look a lot bigger...
'Does this wing make my *** look fat?'
Some pictures of today's progress:
Front left big brake upgrade. 11" Corrado rotor. Carbotech XP10 pads.
Front left lower control arm, rear mount. Poly bushings in place, with a grease fitting. New suspension bolts.
Heim-joint tie-rod-end conversion fail. Notice the interference between the adapter pin spacer and the ball socket on the upper left side. The fix is already on the way.

Got the Kirkey race seat installed. I seriously beefed up the stock rails by adding cross-rail connections for the seat mount points. It worked out nicely. I'll be adding mount points for the harness lap belts next then calling the seat done.
I finished fabricating a bolt-in harness bar this evening. It should work well. I'll put up picts once I paint and install it. That should be this weekend if the weather holds.
I am having second thoughts about the rear wing mounts so I might redo that soon. I do not think the current trunk lid mount is going to do the job. The wing will not come off, but it moves around too much, not firm enough. I might weld some reinforcement into the trunk lid and redo the mounts. It could also use some pins, or at least some adjustment of the latch. I could also do something completely baller like some ball-end strut mounts.
