Ummm, Of course pauter is going to say their rod is stronger, however the engineering science is not behind that design. I think that you would want/need something a little more substantial than the manufacturer stating that they are better without any scientific testing or reasoning.

I believe that pauter rods are in fact very good rods, but that their "science" may be slightly flawed. I am not an engineer though and don't pretend to be, even pauter does not claim superiority for it's design over other designs but rather they state that they made choices in design for their own reasons.
