I seriously need to get something to work today. I am really annoyed. And I was up all night vomiting because I ate a bowl of chili. Surgery next summer. My LC-1 warms up when it has power, it also gives a narrow band and wideband signal when checked with a voltmeter. I have the "in" plugged up, and the serial port plugged into the computer. My old laptop didn't connect so I bought the usb adapter from diyautotune and hooked it up to my new laptop, no luck. What the hell am I doing wrong?

 

I have not been able to interface mine with the laptop yet. However, I get a similar error when the cables are not plugged in. It is the little "radio" type connectors that must be installed. Out of the gauge/LC-1 is two ports: 1 goes to the gauge, one gets plugged.
