I've gone through 3 batteries on mine, but that's because I'm ******* retarded and let the ****** sit there with the battery tender unplugged.

It all sounds like regular maintenance and user error. Although when I had a 1.6 one of my rear calipers froze because the parking brake bracket on the caliper became corroded.

Dear Huslter, **** you.. i didnt even read your post

looks like we have some keyboard thugs here... NOOOO i even used my old gaskets and hand tightened all the bolts

of course i did, it would be stupid not to... I even replaced the woodruff key and timing gear while i was there.. loctite 660 and 243 in the right places off the top of my head

Oh, it also serves to say I've gone through those 3 batteries in 4 years and approximately 5k miles.
