Daikei hub, 350mm Momo Monte Carlo, 1" eBay spacer (I think it's LTB). I've driven a car with the eBay wheel and it was the shittiest feeling wheel in the world. I've driven a car with a Nardi and it was nice, but too small IMO (320mm). I like my big wheel. |
i currently have an ebay wheel. i mean it does the job but i didnt realize how small it was. If i feel like buying another one i'd go bigger than 320mm

Sparco Ring here. I <3 D shaped wheels.

Basic question... what does everyone do about the Airbag Light? Can you slap on one of these adapters, and wheels and roll on... Remove a bulb.. Or are most removing the entire airbag assy?

$150 dollar setup....not cheap, but not expensive and have had for over two years.
As for the airbag light, I used a jumper harness from R-speed, but then finally 86'd the whole AB assymblies and computer. |

On the 90-93 you can just cut off the connector and connect the wires together. On the later cars it requires a resistor. You can remove the battery backup and cut the line to the light as well.

is that so? I added the 3-ohm resistor to mine....it's only off half the time. :fawk: I kept my stock connectors, they are shoved under the plastic boot cover. |

I got the MOMO Team(280mm)steering wheel,MOMO hub & NRG slim quick release.
When it comes down to steering wheels & hubs, don't cheap out, spend the extra money on something that is good quality.Remember, the steering wheel is the only thing that allows you to steer the car,how important is that? |
^Not true, I steer with my right foot all the time... more often now that I'm back to 185tires.
Good advice all, keep it coming. I take it the adapters from just about any company are universal and will fit other brands. For example, if I buy a Momo hub, can I put a Sparco wheel on it? |
Sparco and MOMO are the same pattern. Grant uses something unique. Tekniq is different again. So watch what you buy.
|
^the Grant & Tekniq use a 5 bolt pattern,the MOMO & Sparco use a 6 bolt pattern.
|
Tekniq uses a 6 bolt patter, the spacing is just different. I've got a Tekniq hub in my car with a MOMO adapter/spacer for my Sparco wheel. The Tekniq hubs are shorter than normal, since they are made to work with their own quick release.
|
Jay,do you have a Tekniq quick release? if you do,how do you like it?
|
Nope, just the hub.
|
Fake Ebay Momo here, seems to work fine so far.

I snagged a genuine momo monte carlo off ebay for $35, love it. I use a Dakei hub I bought in the classifieds here for $40 :)
