Default Lower rad hose connection problem

My rad doesn't have "lips" on its pipes, and, using a simple worm screw type clamp, my (brand new Mazda) lower rad hose is not sealing well.

What would you recommend?

Better clamp? Two clamps? some sealant on the pipe, and then slide the hose on?

how about a JB Weld bead on the pipe. Should be pretty foolproof.
