its one of those things you don't "repair" cause not much else besides the stuff already broken can break so not only will it be near impossible to find another broken one, but even less probably to find one that's broken but with those teeth still intact.

paperweight imo

tell him you'll take it for free, and if you try and buy the gears from Mazda....$$$$$ good luck. I wiped out the spider gears in my open diff, they were not cheap. I think I was looking at a little over $300 for 4 spider gears and the pin. Take it for free and get some money for scrap metal

Wirelessly posted

Not worth the trouble. Keep looking for a good one.

That guy has been posting that on craigslist for months now. There is no way in hell he is getting 50 for it.

Does Mazda even sell the internal parts for the Torsen? Checking the Mazdaspeed parts diagram the diff is a single piece, they don't list internals for it.

According to the dealer parts catalog, you can purchase the gears, washers, pins etc for the open diff as service parts, however the Torsen diff is listed only as a complete assembly. There's also no rebuild procedure for it in the service manual, unlike the open diff.
