Carbon naca headlight duct would have looked and worked better. Looks like you cut the entire lens out.

Looks pretty ghetto to me. I'm not a fan of the "remove it and mesh it approach".

I think it probably looks better to just remove the housings and just secure the signal in the openening. That's what I did, but I also used LED turn signals so no worry about a bulb cracking from heat/cold.

aha, I dont mind guys, but thanks ben. The look o.k from up close, because of the glue. I think I need to spray them with paint a couple more times.

DriverX. Good job taking the crap. I always hate when someone posts "whadda ya think of these" and then gets pissed when people give negative opinions. From the pics I'd say the negatives are how rough the outside edges look with the glue (is it glue?). It doesn't look very finished. Maybe you could build up or fab something around the edge that could be sanded/ painted to clean the look up.

Hey man, looks good.. They look 10000x better than mine.

Went to home depot and bought some gutter mesh. A pair of airplane scissors, a factory turn signal, and 3 hours of work and I finished one. It looks absolutely terrible with no possible way I can see to make it actually look good without some sort of laser cutting or a stamping shear.

It doesnt look too bad, i wouldnt see the car pass and think "WTF is up with that" like the jetta hatchback with the wing I saw today. However It could be made cleaner and just like has been mentioned, the edges are too noticable and should be either cleaned up or painted black to help it blend in. In the pictures it looks like the opening is closed up, is that an optical illusion?

The whole thing is open, there is only a frame around the outside that holds the mesh. Any ideas for makeing the frame/glue look better? I used some locktite epoxy like stuff, holds really good. The whole thing is painted black.. maybe it needs some more coats?

I didnt like it so I never bothered with the other side. I ended up just getting new lights and tinting them black.
