i have a 3" mandrel bent exhaust (turbocharged) with a magnaflow cat and magnaflow oval body muffler (no resonator). i'm very happy with the sound, and ive gotten many compliments... i'm sure your exhaust will sound great.

Didn't catch the whole thread, but... With a tuned header, a supercharger pushing air through it, and no turbo to take out the sound, you're going to need a LOT of muffling.... Be prepared to do it twice. :-)

Also, when I built my system, I found there were three levels of muffler that were in the same phyiscal package: straight through, open but with two 180* bends, and an internally baffeled design. I got a straight through, center/center one, and now don't have the "turbo muffler" option, with the two bends. In retrospect, I would have gotten a side/side muffler so I could change to the quieter muffler without rewelding everything.

 

I got bored/impatient and installed my enthuza 3" Turboracer.. HOLY CRAP. It sounds DAMN good, but its like, "Give me a ticket NOW" under acceleration... Needs more turbo!
