Mazda 323 gtx rods on a 94 1.8

I've been reading into this for the longest, It looks like the rods from a 87-89 gtx would fit into the miata 1.8, these look better for their overall strength , what do you guys think?

not worth it given the cost... they arn't that much stronger than stock, and they are heavier.

really, from what I read they arnt that much heavier than stock ?

just put in good rods if you have the motor apart, suck it up and do it right the first time.

I never understand why people cheap out so much and then bitch about blowing the motor in 9 months.

no I was considering doing it, but then again I was going to go with a set of rods and pistons from fm, unless i can get them from somwhere else for a better price?
