Mazda Original Thermostat orientation for Begi reroute

Mazda Original Thermostat orientation for Begi reroute
I just finished installing the BEGI coolant reroute. I installed the Mazda Original thermostat with the mini thermostat pointing top center. Please see the attached image.
While at idle the temperature is reading 194 to 207. Fans are working.
I am just trying to make sure that I have the thermostat oriented correctly and if installing it as I have have any disadvantages.
