Heyo, hope I'm posting this in the correct area, but I have a question about mazdaspeed miata seats. My dad just bought a set for his car. The question is, what are these 2 holes? Or tabs or whatever they are, and what are their purpose? Why only on one seat? I tried searching on here and the Google machine and couldn't find any info about it. We're super curious about it. I know I'm probably going to feel stupid when it's something obvious.
I thought it was some sort of eyelet for holding something down, dad thought they were some sort of vents, didn't get that one, but whatever. Then I thought maybe they were snaps for removing the casing, but that didn't make sense on only one seat.
They are markers showing where the loops for the child seat anchors are. I use them a few times a week to bring my daughter to daycare. The loops are mounted to the back wall of the cabin and extend between the upper seat and lower seat.
