My shifter got all sloppy (as in I can't shift sloppy) so I opened it up, and saw that the plastic ball at the bottom of the shifter was shattered.

Does anyone have any idea where I can get the replacement part for this? I can't seem to find anything anywhere and I don't have the mazdaspeed competition membership obviously..

er, you mean the plastic piece (bushing) that pops onto the METAL sphere at the bottom of the shifter? That isn't a mazdaspeed specific piece, you can get it from mazda or any stock shifter.

 

You can always upgrade the plastic piece to a brass piece made by Mazdatrix.

......but ya,the plastic piece your looking for is a stock mazda part.
