It's not worth the $$ if you have to close the gills. If you wanted to do work, you could just graft in your own extractor.

+1 BUT, I'd be more willing to "accept" the gills if he had some "proof" that they work to exhaust heat rather than drawn in low pressure air from the top of the hood. If they were at least proven to be functional, they'd be easier to accept, but the retard won't even so a simple string test.
