Default miata help

i have a 93 miata that died on me last week. the starter didnt wanna turn over after work and so i just kept turning the key and it finally turned over so i figured the starter is gonna go out soon wasnt too worried about it cuz id still be able to bump start it. then later that day the starter just wouldnt wanna start it at all, so i bumped started it and ten minutes later the car wouldnt wanna hold rpms at all had to floor it just to go 5 mph everytime i signalled or braked the rpms would drop like crazy. i just replaced the alternator and battery about a month ago oh and now the radio flickers on and off and my tach gauge is over 9k and stuck there evertime i try to turn the key over the tach moves a lil bit.

so i suspect its something electrical but i have no idea where to start on it. my friend thinks it could be the ecu or a short or grounds fucked up. we tested the battery it read 11.94 v so thats still good.

i appreciate any help at all cuz im very clueless on this.

Type that again using the shift key and do not type "cuz" and we will help you. However that mess you typed is illegible at best.

Holy ****. How do you expect us to help you if you won't even put effort into your post? Can I assume your vehicle is stock?

Sorry but our moderators enforce proper grammar and english.. problem?

Listen we want to help, but why should we spend our time helping you diagnose something if half the time we spend decoding your posts? Honestly you can't even meet us half way?

No my car is not stock. Close to it.

I dont want to have to proof read my post for ten minutes trying to pass an english test. I'm not good at writing english. Not my strong point, with that being said i have a problem with my car.

My car wont turn over at all just clicks as if the battery is dead, i tested the battery with a volt meter and it read 11.94v like i said the alternator and battery are brand new about a month old. The ecu was replaced about five months ago because we tried hooking up a Bee*R to it and fried it. It is not the orignal motor but it is a 1.6 with lower milage, i have no clue on what to do. I'm not that good at diagnostics, especially wiring which i assume thats what it is.

Take your car to a mechanic (a good one) and get it fixed.

11.94VDC is not good for a new battery. You are obviously not qualified to do electrical work, and that's what's needed.

We aren't going to grade your posts, we just like to see effort. We understand not everyone may type perfect English, hell I don't.

If you hear clicking when you turn the key, I'd check the connections to the battery and the starter. Will it turn over if you try and jump it with another car? Sounds like a bad connection somewhere, or a dead battery.

well the battery is not dead. Even if the starter has a bad connection it should still be able to be bumped started.

ps I showed my friends this post and they all think you guys are a bunch of douche bags.

11.94 is not "alive" either. If the alternator is not charging the battery and your ECU is not getting the power it needs, then you will have problems. Have you tried jumping it?

Justify your incredibly poor writing and I'll consider not banning you. I was pretty nice to you in the first post.

Hustler doesn't have a Mom.

Have you taken your car to a mechanic yet? While there, maybe he can fix your headlights and your wheels.

The difference is, lots of people on this site care. Because we have something called standards.
