Moroso Coolant expansion Tank
I just noticed this on Moroso's website, and it's listed as a new product. It's an all aluminum coolant expansion tank replacement for 90-97 miata's:
I know mine is starting to crack in several areas, and this would be an awesome replacement... looks like my list of thing to buy just got bigger The product number is 63780. Has anyone had the chance to see/use one yet?

Looks nice.. Too much $$.
LMAO. Your sig FTW! Back when the blue car was burning more oil per mile than gasoline we used to love giving hybrid owners the smoke screen. Tell em something like, "Oh.. you think you're saving the planet with that windup toy? Watch this..."

A brand new plastic tank is only $32 from Mazda Motorsports. Considering the original lasted close to 20 years, I wouldn't have a problem with the dependability of a new OEM one. The Moroso one is over 5x as much and you can't see through it for a quick visual check of coolant level. It's some nice bling but I'm not sure what else it brings to the table.

Hmmm ....

Is that aluminum piece really lighter than the oem plastic one?

Moroso aluminum tanks don’t just look good, they have been engineered for performance! Aluminum is stronger and lighter weight than the factory plastic reservoirs.

Ive been wanting this for awhile, but could never justify the $$$. Mine was fucked so I got a replacement "universal" one from summit. Only thing is the fitting leaks, I just need to pull it off and put some silicone on it and no problem. Out of the engine bay and under the passenger side headlight.
