The set-up is built to do about 650 bhp. But, chances are the clutch will slip before then.
Yes we are most def clutch limited on off the shelf stuff those coils look to be GM hei coils or something similiar, do you have any specs on them? Very nice build man. What are you going to run for traction?
those are TEC coils, come with the ECU

Haven't decided what I am going to do as far as traction. On the street, I am going to run my 205/50-15 T1Rs that are mounted on Heliums. On the strip, I am probably going to mount some 24X8ish slicks. With the T1R's, i was able to hook 300 whp from a roll (even in 2nd Gear) w/o any traction problems whatsoever...I couldn't tell tire slip at all. With the 6 speed and 4.3 gears, I wasn't able to produce enough load to get much boost in first from a roll....but with the 3.6's I'll have to see how it goes.
After I get the car running, I am going to go into financial conservation mode again. I won't be able to track the car until I get a Cage in it, which I don't plan on doing until the beginning of the year. Aside from the cage, I need to get rims/slicks, Race Seat, and harness. I can't think of anything else that I need to replace (unless something breaks....which is quite probable).
I am probably going to keep it pretty low on boost for a while. By low on boost <20 psi. Once I get everything settled and I feel confident, I will move on up into the 30 psi area. At which point I hope to put down in the 525-550whp numbers.
I think I answered your questions plus alot more
205's at 500whp
yeah that will hook you run those to make smoke on cheap tires right
So you think a 8 inch slick can handle that power if the suspension is setup right? I would have though you would be getting closer to 9-10 inch power to wieght territory? But i
much about slicks.

All is good
, My initial reaction was defensive (i'm tired, I am working graveyards this week)...I'm young yeah, but I support myself and my habits.
This set-up has cost a rediculous amount of money. If I put everything together, including the cost of the car, I am probably right at around 30k.
