I'm not sure what your titanic reference is all about but if you saw the ecodes next to a standard h6024 you would understand how profound the difference is, especially with the 80/100 bulbs.

I understand they could be awesome, but wtf does European spec have to do with any of it? And I believe we all know that the Titanic sunk. And we all get a bit "irregular", to keep yourself in check, eat Dannon Activia!

I suppose you're right, we should blindly jerk off over everything else does on this forum and not offer our opinions or reasonable alternatives.

You've never been with a woman have you? With all due respect you sound like a 16yo pimply faced **** receptacle.

Lights look cool dude, don't stop trying new things.

I like it. One thing I particularly like about it is when looking at it's profile, the headlight cover doesn't hang over, rather it is flush w/ the black surrounding.

Headlight cover not flush/hanging over w/ surrounding example:

The European spec lenses are designed differently and offer much more usable light light focused on the road when compared to DOT standard lights.

Here is the beam pattern of a 7" round e-code:

Here is a side by side of DOT vs e-code on the same vehicle.

And again, what does that have to do with the OP's custom headlights? I know you people like trying to sound smart and like you know something everyone else doesn't, but everyone else knows about e-codes too.

My headlight conversion-sandown30may09-009.jpg

I bought some 180sx twin headlights and made them fit onto the stock eyelid. I did this as i needed the space underneath. They look o.k, especially compared to those rectangle lights.

I like the idea. I wanted to do the same thing to mine after seeing one in the HyperRev magazine. I think a company called Active makes them. Don't know how to get them though. They're Japanese. In your case you might think about taking the stock headlight surrounds and modifying them a bit. You could probably use fiberglass to reshape them to a tighter fit. Then it would look factory. All in all, cool mod.
