Default NB functional aero spoorer??

I was looking to get one of the Blackbird Fabworx lexen spoilers because it seems to be the most track proven spoiler to actually provide good results, however I have a carbon fiber boot and reading through the instructions I wasn't so keen on drilling so many holes into it.

Which spoiler would be the "next best thing" to use? I was looking at the 3 piece carbon miata ducktail but I feel that's more of a style wing

can anyone shed any light on which one would actually be the next best spoiler for performance?

I have only seen people run 2D foils with a fastback. I think you are going to be pretty limited in choices unless you can run a oem trunk with that fastback? If you can then utilize the BBFW lexan wing with a oem trunk and swap for events.

Carbon boot, doesn't this just mean its a carbon trunk? If so, with a decent size foot mount, you could conceivably use 3M double sided tape. Same stuff for mounting servos in RC cars.

Or dont be a ***** and just drill some holes in it.

my FB retains the oem trunk shape at the rear, purposely designed so you can run the spoiler of your own choice for it. So I can run any spoiler which fits oem NB trunk. I just need to know which ones are actually designed to improve performance that hopefully don't require drilling!

I believe that all functional aero options out there do require drilling...

Anything with actual performance chops will require drilling.

Singular Motorsports Aero Wing | Singular Motorsports

No holes in your trunk, but you gotta grind the trunk a bit.

How did you imagine a spoiler of any type to mount with out needing holes/bolts to keep it attached ? Magic? Lol

There's at least 6 mounting points
