Does anyone have measurements of the difference in seat height between the NB2 and NB1 seats? I'm thinking of getting some NB2 seats for my 99 because I'd like to get my head below the top of the seat back and I'm wondering if this will be enough to do it.

 

I don't have any measurements, but I can tell you by feel, NB2 seats feel the same height or slightly taller than NB1's. My NB2 seats feel like I'm riding on top of the car, more than "in" the car, whereas I didn't notice this with the NB1.

 

Nb1 is actually quite a bit taller

 

For some reason I thought I had read that the NB2 seat back was taller. Was hoping I could find a daily seat that would provide support for my head and also be between my head and a roll bar for less than elise/marrad money. I'll probably just end up with a kirkey and see if I can live with it.

I'm interested in from the seat top to the top of headrest. Wasn't sure how exactly to phrase it. The goal is to get my head lower in relation to the top of the headrest.

 

The seatbck on the 01 is taller. Much taller.
The seat bottom on the 99-00, as in the space from your butt to the floor, is higher.

 

Thanks, that's helpful. There's a guy locally who's selling some so I'm just going to sit in one. That's probably a more effective approach than asking a bunch of people on the internet! If I end up buying them I will take some measurements and report back.
