Default NB2 Window Switch Failure

Morning. My drivers side window does not roll down on my 2003 NB, I tried forcing it, lubing it, etc, but no bueno. The passenger side switch makes an audible mechanical click when the switch is pressed and does work, however the drivers side makes no noise. Upon removing and inspecting the switch I was expecting to see contacts that need to be cleaned like the NA, but this has something similar to the pictures. More plastic up down switches. The drivers side toggle moves up and down (its the one on the left if i remember correctly), but doesnt have the same mechanical "click" noise as the passenger side. Does any one know if that means the switch is bad? Or is that normal operation and I need to look at the window motor?

I found a link on miata.net on how to jumper the harness, i was unaware the switches with the auto down feature were different. When jumping the harness there is a soft click in the motor, nothing else. Any ideas? Could the switch not be passing enough juice through, or is it more likely the motor is locked?

No real experience with Miata power windows, but based on others I have worked on, it is most likely the window mechanism is off track/jammed and the motor is not powerful enough to force it.
