I have been wanting/planning to build one of those in the future anyway, and the timing probably couldn't be better since I was preparing to make a vehicle change anyway. Though it would mean no new Miata.

Yeah... I'm so used to opportunities that are the right car at the wrong time. This one appears to be the wrong car at he right time. If it were local and I could look at it and drive it I'd be down, but I think given the list of stuff he sent me that it needs attention, and the loooong distance, I think I ought to pass.
