I did 4.1 torsen swap in my 93 miata and it is making a weird knocking noise if i make sharp turns or when its under wot in first gear. I am thinking its an axle since the drain plug has like zero metal shavings. Has anyone else ever had this?

]I have the same diff and gears out of a 95 type m in my 1990. My cars is pretty quite but can hear and feel it working on race rubber in corners at 10 tenth's.

You dont say if you put the correct drive line in.( later model that came in car with the lsd

You don't say if you botherd to jack the car upand check anything. Drive lines nothing.

You don't say how loud. Or i put new red line oil in it. All you basically say is it makes noise in first. Change the oil in the trany then duh.
