Default New Newbie with a Miata!

My first ever car... and its a Miata.

Thank you all for the very useful information from the previous thread about bicycle rims. Now i am a proud bone stock clean 94 m edition owner. Exterior and seats are not perfect but it is mechanically well maintained and smooth. Everything runs smooth but the previous owner for whatever reason took the cat off. Is that a good idea? Only aftermarket mod is the radio/stereo, which I do not mind at all. The car is high miles, 160k on the odometer. But so far I love it.

Got it for 2.8k too. (Good deal maybe?) Will post some pics...

Not a bad deal depends on how the body looks really. But its nice to have a 94 to start with. My experience with the cat is two things one do you have emission where you live it will fail obviously and two it does lower your gas mileage a little bit. I removed the one from my 95 and gas mileage dropped about 2 mpg but acceleration was better as to be expected and that was on a stock exhaust. If none of those two bother you than you are good to go. Welcome to the forum
