Default No Turbo Blanket What About Ceramic Coating

I understand the popular view on this forum is that turbo blankets are bad because they trap the heat radiating from the turbine housing, and may over heat the turbo. What about Swain coating the turbine housing? Swain is a true thermal barrier that will keep the heat flowing down stream. I just finished packaging my manifold and down pipe to send off. Should I send the turbine housing as well?

A true thermal coating like Swaintech is not a bad idea. Most of the benefits are probably visual, but it probably does make a small performance difference. I'll have my AF stuff Swainteched at some point just to keep it looking pretty.

Had heard an external thermal coat is good, but never internal. Have heard stories about flaking taking out the turbine.
