me and i believe magna use the same turbo mani and d/p i have no problems at all... only complaing i have is how it's soo close to everything.... a tip if you DO get that kit? rebend one of your brake lines and HEAT WRAP everything around it :)

From what I hear, it works fine, but will crack eventually. Go fo it if you want.

i have a friend who likes to weld stuff.... when i say likes.... i mean there's metal shavings all over his garage and u get pricked if you don't pay attention...

i've never had to re-weld my manifolds or downpipes as of yet so i guess i'm fortunate?

what is a good manifold for top mount? i can't seem to find one. i went on begi's site but i can only find the 1.8 mani that looks like a snail. my search is really poor..hehe.. i have a 16g turbo...1.6 liter. any mani that is much closer so i have more space from the brake thingy...

Eunos_roadsterna6ce 12-01-2007 12:02 AM

my mani cracked when i was on the dyno...

dude... bending ur brake lines is simple.... besides... it took me about a year and a half to bust my brake line?

just dont bend it too much or you'll mess it up.... you can always bring it to a shop and have them bend you a new line... i paid 20$

Eunos_roadsterna6ce 12-01-2007 12:08 AM

i guess that sounds easy...so how long have you had that obx mani? and what kind of turbo do you have? obx is just to cheap...i'm afraid its going to crack..

i've had the OBX manifold since my 1st or 2nd year in college... this is my 3rd so it's 1 year to 2 years

i'm running a T25 turbo at 10psi no problems at all

*includes mazda/nissan into the OBX group*

he's in it too! :)

Eunos_roadsterna6ce 12-01-2007 12:20 AM

i guess obx sounds pretty good for a good price..

XxGoKoUxX 12-01-2007 12:27 AM

if you're really that weary about it... buy two... if one breaks.... replace it right away (IMO not hard to change a manifold or downpipe), take the broken one to a local welder and have it rewelded....

juhanis 12-01-2007 12:54 AM

or you can always make a schedule 40 mild steel log manifold. i did this after my ebay one cracked too much... much better. no cracking at all.

mazda/nissan 12-01-2007 08:44 AM

just brace it, if you look around you can find the pictures that magnamx-5 posted of his brace which consists of just a a piece of metal from the turbo to the head
