i have a friend who likes to weld stuff.... when i say likes.... i mean there's metal shavings all over his garage and u get pricked if you don't pay attention...

i've never had to re-weld my manifolds or downpipes as of yet so i guess i'm fortunate?

what is a good manifold for top mount? i can't seem to find one. i went on begi's site but i can only find the 1.8 mani that looks like a snail. my search is really poor..hehe.. i have a 16g turbo...1.6 liter. any mani that is much closer so i have more space from the brake thingy...

dude... bending ur brake lines is simple.... besides... it took me about a year and a half to bust my brake line?

just dont bend it too much or you'll mess it up.... you can always bring it to a shop and have them bend you a new line... i paid 20$

if you're really that weary about it... buy two... if one breaks.... replace it right away (IMO not hard to change a manifold or downpipe), take the broken one to a local welder and have it rewelded....

just brace it, if you look around you can find the pictures that magnamx-5 posted of his brace which consists of just a a piece of metal from the turbo to the head
