good day all!

I was under my totalled 99 last night pulling all my go-fast parts off of what's left of my car. Anyhow, last year I had a custom 3" exhaust made and everything from the DP flange back is welded. Now, on the old car I figured that I'd go ahead and drop that tubular bracing from the back of the car to get the exhaust off without cutting.

Now that I have the exhaust off... it's gotta go back onto the new car. Is there any risk or issue with taking the tubular frame bits off while I'm on jackstands? Will I need to get an alignment or anything like that?

Just wondering what I've gotta do.

I dont see any problems you would encounter

 

If you are talking about the subframe brace that bolts in with 6 bolts, no problem - go for it. I've had mine off a couple of times, most recently the day before yesterday putting on my one piece exhaust.

 

thanks all for the replies! I will just take the frame off for the duration of the exhaust install and then throw her back on!

Hell, maybe I'll have it powder coated to match the exterior while I am at it
