Default Oil catch can contents

Ok so I have had a catch can on for awhile now (pretty sure i have leaky rings need to do some tests) but i ran my pcv line to it and the breather line to it. I hardly ever got any oil in it but I burned a quart every 1k miles or so.

Well my garrett died and the car sat for a month while i sourced some parts and upgraded a few things, well today I opened the catch can valve to see if it had anything in it, nothing came out. Pulled the filter off to look inside of it and it was half full of this green goop looking **** that smelled worse than a landfill (not even joking) All and all about a month and a half since I've tried to drain the catch can.

Drain valve was clogged, pulled the catch can off the car dumped what I could outside and almost threw up. Took it inside to try to clean out the can and snap a few photos, that didn't happen minute I started to rinse it out the smell was overpowering and I had to get rid of the **** fast, 1 quart of bleach later the smell is still here not as strong but here.

Engine oil looks just fine, looked into the oil cap and looks it ok under there.

Anyway it looks like a somewhat liquidy version of Dijon mustard how does this happen?

The temperature could be a factor. I don't know, just throwing something out there.

You shouldn't have thrown it out, you just may have been growing that "goop" that scientests have been trying to prove we came from, for years.

a mixture of oil and water will provide a home for anaerobic bacteria, happens all the time in industrial applications as well as the coolant we use in our CNC machines at work..have to start them up a couple of times a week if they are not being used often.
