Ok so I am sick of this. I'm getting the infamous 99 p0420.

2011
-Started in dec 2011.
(see thread here on MT)

-Changed front 02, rear 02, plugs, wires.

-Read OBDII codes and changed cat after front rear o2 voltage was almost matching.

2012
-Changed cat in FM midpipe in Jan 2012 cell gone

-June cell came back.
cleared MIL and it would be gone for a month or so. Played this game for a while.

-December Changed coil pack.
Cell gone for about a week.

2013
-Jan got new cat
-Cell gone for two weeks
Then p0402 egr code.
-cleared code
Lasted one week then EGR code again.
-cleared code

Feburary
-2 weeks go by get p0455 evaporator large leak. (gas cap loose). Cleared code
Last Wednesday
-420 cat code comes back.

I'm ready to sell the DAMN car (and might already have if my wife and I had not just gotten a new house at the end of December). On my scans it looks like the cat is doing its job. At cruse very large voltage difference between the front and rear 02 sensor unlike last year.

 

I had that code...until I went ms2 standalone. Now it's like, code?? What code??

 

Too bad i need OBDII read out or I would have done that.
Inspection runs out at the end of the month. :/

-BTW my one of my coil packs was fried and had some dark gunk in it.
