I'm thinking the #7 was a step colder than the normal plug. Sounds like a resistorless plug with cops would be great. I don't know much about spark plugs. The ones I have may be the same thing.

 

yes, 5=hotter 6=oem heat range 7=colder. these can be had from advance for $2 a piece.

 

I get NGK though amsoil, and that is not the same part number as the standard ngk I run or sell, The difference must be the fact that they dont have a resistor, Ill have to call and see how much I can get them for because that seems awful expensive.

My actual COP set-up could be considered a "poor mans" since the whole thing only cost me about $60 all in.

Including making my harness, the COPS and making my own mounting bracket.

 

^ this is a good point, mine didn't cost any more than that either, and I didn't even have to make the wiring harness. My wife did it for me.

 

I didn't mean "poor" only as in price, I meant as in the lazy factor.
