Default Pop up headlight issue

Hello everyone, so I just installed my headlights back on (this includes headlights, headlight brackets, pop up motors, and the tombstone) and I am having an issue where the headlights rotate up to halfway of the height they are supposed to "pop up". This happens after I install the tombstone. When I hit the headlight button on the tombstone the headlights climb then drop then settle back at halfway up. I'm not sure if it is a bad tombstone button, a bad relay, or a bad headlight motor. If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much

Have you tried adjusting the headlights with the knop on top of the motor

Yes but every time I try doing that, the headlight motor goes crazy and rotates the headlight up and down and then back to halfway.

I had an issue when I replaced one of my motors it wouldn't close all the way. I *think* I hit the button to open them, unplugged the motor and then adjusted it. Been a while though so I may be remembering that wrong.

Were the headlight buckets you installed yours previously, or new to you?

Have you properly adjusted the lever arm that raises and lowers the buckets? See pic in first post here.

The arm circled in red is bolted to the motor arm, and basically makes a circle, stopping in two positions depending on up or down. If you get the "default" position of the arm wrong, it will stop halfway up and halfway down in the cycle. Unbolt it, turn the headlight switch to "up" raise the bucket manually to its zenith, then bolt the arm back onto the splined shaft. See if that does the trick for you.

I will look at it when I am at the car. This would make sense though. Thank you
