PSA: Ronin motor mounts
These things suck bad.
You can buy them on Ebay.
They squish so far after 6 months that your oil pan will be less than 1/4" from the subframe and you'll get all kinds of crazy terrible vibrations because your angles of everything messed up. (Much like if your PPF alignment is wrong, WEIRD.)
Just.... don't buy them.
You're welcome.

This was a PSA brought to you by "jmuse's" experiences with them. I don't have them in my possession, but i can see if he'll cut them up.
The thread lengths do appear to be different. That's fun.

Don't think they're Ronin, but Lazarus had some similar hockey puck looking mounts from ebay for a while. They kept loosening and eventually one of the studs snapped while tightening. AWR or MazdaComp is still the answer. Hopefully we don't find any longer term faults with the AWR, they haven't been around for too long, have they?
Wonder if my subframe isn't on straight since one mount like to twist a little... Maybe time for the BFH
Cutting one apart won't be a problem..........But yes Miater, on is longer than the other, its either an excessive amount of squish or stud pull somehow. The old motor in the car finally just stopped (Connecting rod Failure), and i daily this car as none of my beaters want to cooperate at present. So i had Sat & Sun to to rip the old engine out and install the new one that has been waiting to be installed (AFTER) i had moved into the house i bought. Obviously this didn't work out
. So with a lack of time with moving an all, and no one in town with some stock mounts just to get me by, i used what i had. I really didnt notice anything at first. Fired it up, and it was rough. I drove it around the block and it felt like my dash was going to fall in my lap. Jacked it back up and noticed the oil pan was at BEST, 1/8 away from the sub frame. Pulled it back apart and thats what i found. Now my Honduh, has decided that it would like to start running again.

I've been happy with the Mazdaspeed mounts I got per this forum's recommendation. Sure, they were 100 bucks, but now when I first drive in cold weather, it feels like one of those vibrating coin-operated beds from the 70s.
