Default Racing seat bracket/rails for shorter driver?

Hi everyone, I’m planning on getting Sparco Sprint seats for my 91 Miata and was hoping folks could provide advice on which bracket would work. I’m 5’7” with a 29” inseam.

Ideally looking for a fixed design like the PCI (https://fab9tuning.com/pci-one-piece...nts-super-low/) or Planted bracket (Planted Seat Bracket- Mazda MX-5 Miata [NA Chassis] (1989-1997) LOW - Driver / Left *For Side Mount Seats Only*) but I’m concerned that this will not place the side mounted Sprint far enough forward (see photo of my stock seat preferred position).

Is anyone running a similar setup or any recommendations on brackets that have more forward adjustment? Will I have to resort to getting separate base and side bracket for more adjustability and will that raise the seat height?

Here's the Sparco Evo 1 on the Garagestar mounts all the way forward. I'm 5'6" and I've been struggling with the distance. I've made it this far with a steering wheel spacer and a spacer on the clutch pedal. I'd really like a PCI or garagestar mount with an extra inch or two forward adjustment. There's room to physically get the seat further forward with some transmission hammering, but the rails lack any further adjustment. I tried a Goodwin seat reail + sparco side mounts, but the tunnel interferes with the very wide, non-miata specific side mounts, and I couldn't get it to play nice with the door bar.
With the Sprint, you might be able to get it to bolt to stock seat rails like this: https://forum.miata.net/vb/showthrea...=231860&page=4. I tried this, but the door bar makes the Evo a pain. The sprint is much narrower, and shouldn't be as big a hassle. If you're going to also install a passenger FIA seat, you can try the Garagestar mount (as it fits both sides) first and swap it to the passenger side if you hate it.

Planted should be fine. 2nd hole back on my driver seat and 4 back on the passenger. The difference is from the type of seat the omp wrp shapes down a lot and gains you distance and headroom where my passanger is an omp trs-e similar to the sprint and has a flat bottom. There is still almost 6 inches behind both seats as they sit now. There should be some pics in my build thread if that helps any.

Any of the PCI mounts should work except the low back. I'm 5'8-9" and can pretty much bite the steering wheel in my Sprints with them all the way forward.

I'm almost identical in height and inseam to you and had a sprint on the one piece PCI bracket (regular not the increased setback one) and at the furthest forward position I was pretty comfortable. I did end up buying the clutch pedal extension mentioned in the links below as it was just a little too far away for comfort, and my leg was pretty much straight at the clutch engagement point. The wheel position was great for me with a Daikei Boss hub adapter and NRG short quick disconnect.
