Are the rack and pinion bellows the same between power and manual?

Default Are the rack and pinion bellows the same between power and manual?

My oil drain line wore a hole in the boot covering the U-joint on the steering rack. Rockauto has a the boot for a manual car, but not power.

Are they the same?

This is a NB, 1999 if it matters.

they are different. dont buy the boots sold on ebay. they are crap. i had them on my car for about 3 months and they already cracked and ripped.

OEM is the only way to go but VERY expensive

That boot is only sold as part of the u-joint assembly. $89.95 and I can have it in about a day.

No idea on the power since I haven't been back to the dyno, but my trap speed went up 11mph and my ET came down 4/10ths. I'm right around 21 pounds, any more and my trap speed falls off. That will be rectified shortly with a 3071R.

I am still on the .86 2860RS hanging off the Begi S4 manifold. Waiting on Begi to get me the v-banded 3071R setup.
