I'm hoping they have the usual Black Friday, 1/2 price sale on the NB1 kit.

It's safe to say these are not plug 'n play, correct?
Looks like H4 to H13 adapters can be found pretty cheap.

I've got 2 cars with these installed in them. Light output is good, crisp cutoff, a little on the blue side of white. If you have a headlight bucket that shakes, this'll amplify it. The ones I have were factory f'ups that had the alignment tabs cast in the wrong place, had to cut them down with a grinder. On top of that, whoever they hired to crimp the wire ends was having a bad day - 1 wired was crimped into insulation and nonfunctional, another pair had the wires installed in the wrong order in the harness. Simple enough to repin, and definitely worth $75. H13 -> H4 adapters were included in my order, but I don't see the option for it on this page.

This is a ridiculous deal. I'm in the same boat of driving an NB and still wanting to buy them. I've got FX-R's retro'ed in my NB1, makes a world of difference being able to see where your going at night.

Are these worth over twice the price of the HELLA 7" H4 that are $30 on Amazon?

I understand the difference. I'm asking if you guys think going LED is worth the price difference.

If these had have been available at this price when I had an NA I would not have bought Cibies, which cost me the same as these LEDs before making a relay setup. I also wouldn't screw around with any Halogens that weren't E-codes, and you can't get E-codes for $30

Other LED 7" headlights look to be pretty good. Why don't you take the plunge and find out for the rest of us?

My last post was directed at Mr. Conley.

Personally, I think your projector setup is pretty slick.

I mostly see H1 Mini's in NB1 conversions. Tell me more about why and how you went with the FX-R.

Maybe start a separate thread?

Yeah, please start a separate thread. I really need to do something about my nb1 headlights. It's embarrassing when I could see better at night on a motorcycle with one headlight.

Well, I started this sometime back but it got little traction:

nb1-morimoto-hid-nb2-projectors

Maybe we can revive it and get some input?

@MetalMuffins, care to contribute? I think @Godless Commie did some sort of conversion as well, before the Mini's came out.
