Wife likes the idea of red seats. Seems a bit too much for me.
Thoughts?

If wife takes enough interest in your project to give an opinion, then that's a good thing. Do it for her. It shows you value her opinion on things that mean a lot to you. It may also have a positive impact on how much she lets you spend in the future.

 

I didn't even like having red belts in mine...but it was largely because my wife was against it as well.

I'm with sprx3...I can't get my wife into my car enough. Just do it.

red seats are never a good idea, they get dirty from looking at them.
black with red stitching or embrodery is cool tho

 

The seats would have to be VELOCITY red.

 

Tell her for some reason the red ones are sold out everywhere/more expensive/not in the right size/etc and that they only have black seats or black seats with red stitching. Then ask "which do you think I should get?". This will keep it being a choice she made on your car, but either decision is one you will be happy with.

My VR MSM came with red/black seats from the factory, in my opinion it was a bit over the top.

Yea i know i cheaped out...i had it before i boosted i know i was gona get razzed on it. I will be getting one soon but the pricing is crazy for a polished hardog like 800$ plus tax and shipping to over here will be like 1100 canadian.

 

I vote for asking them to send you an uncoated bar and just sandpapering away on it. The round tubes shouldn't be that difficult to get an even finish on.

 

i went with blue seats in a mariner blue miata. The only reason i went with them is because the price was amazing.

 

Im going to be doing red seats in my vr msm. i dont care what anyone else says in that regard as ive been wanting to do it for a while. then again, im a raging homosexual so what do i know
