Default Researching COP for 99 with xcede

After reading the entire thread my old *** still has a few ?s. I can find the COPs and connectors. I still think I need to use a dwell reducer, either Jasons or Travis setup as it runs off the stock ECU. My biggest ? is has anyone made a plug n play for a 99. I really don't want to cut my harness, but will splice in if it is the only option. Thanks David.

Its weird, I asked this exact question a bunch of times before and never seem to get a good answer. I know for a fact there are a bunch here running COPs on 99-00's, and I've gone over the COP FAQ thread a bunch of times, and the writeup is for NA's, and mentions NB's for a little bit but is so vague and didn't make any sense to me.

So BUMP for answers on what the difference is in wiring up COPS for na vs nb.

I made one for my 99 a few years ago and I didn't use a dwell reducer. I used the plugs from dead coilpacks to connect it to my main harness. Here are pics from my cardomain page.

99mx5, First thanks. I DD the turbocar and put about 1000miles a month. One member here said his worked for two years, but then said that was about 5000 miles. I guess the worst that can happen, is burn out a coil. Now the big problem, I've got two 99s. I have owned them for 3 years and don't have any old coil packs, as I've had no problems with them. Thanks again David
