I can understand the front being lifted when you pull the engine. What did you remove to raise the rear end?

That and what ~50% of the engine sits behind the front wheels? There's a reason this car has 50/50 weight distribution.

That adds on to it but not so much. 250-300lb at a 1/10th of the way between the wheels is pretty much all on the front wheels.

I say that because I've seen Miata sitting with engine and transmission out. Rear lift wasn't THAT much. Front was sky high.

Talking about my car? If I tried to explain every detail of how I reduced weight, we would be here all day. An ounce or two here, a pound or so there, next thing I knew I had the high water look going.

It is not something that I did in a few days. It was a constant project that took years. I still retained a stock appearing interior (seats, carpet, steering wheel, doors and dash). It was all under the skin. A lot of folks were left scratching their heads at the dragstrip.
